Very poor company to deal with

This company is the WORST to deal with. They are constantly changing coordinators in my area. When you call you are put on hold forever. Now they have a system if they don't answer your call in 15 minutes you are sent to v-mail to leave a message. THEY NEVER RETURN YOUR CALL, urgent or not. This holds true for PSW's as well. So many of mine have said they never get a call back, and they need to reach them for a damn good reason. They change PSW's on you without letting you know they have. They took away my PSW because she has too many clients. WHAT????? It's not like they ask for this many, Bayshore just gives them new clients whether they want them or not. I got use to one PSW, then they take her away because of this. It's bullshit. The PSW, if they want to cut some of their clients, should have the say as to which client(s) they are willing to give up, not just take away a number of clients. Bayshore has NO respect for their PSW's, which is more than obvious!! Don't use Bayshore!

Poor organization. The staff doesn't return calls. When you are finally able to speak with them, they have no record of your previous conversation, so you are starting from scratch. Regarding the caregivers, it is DIFFICULT to get them off their personal cellphones. Some have a headset and they talk to their friends continuously. Also, they get paid for the entire scheduled time, even if they don't stay. And it's hard to get them to stay! Two hours help means just that, not 40 minutes and out the door.

Staff did not show up. No one called to indicate staff weren't coming, and my call to inquire was never responded to. This is a significant risk to clients, and a major potential liability to Bayshore.

Some of the nurses at bayshore are amazing, and I would love to leave 5 stars just for them. However the actual organization has very poor organizational issues, especially with ordering supplies. The nurse who I regularly see always orders 10 or so days before I run out of supplies and they dont arrive until the day after I run out, when they should be there several days after the order (or at least that I'm always told by staff). This is my health in their hands, so it sucks to have so little faith in the management. Some of the nurses seem like they are very new and not used to the job, which concerns me when other nurses are in and out and do a great job very quickly. I would give five stars if I were just rating my regular nurse, Ramona, as she has been excellent over the last few months!
